I’ve been acquiring snowdrops for many years and now have a collection of over 200 named varieties plus drifts of singles and doubles throughout the garden.
Galanthus Pat Mason looks particularly good in several areas. “A real snowdrop garden” I’ve been told and “a better collection here than other gardens that say they have a collection”.
An obsessed galanthophile, I open every Thursday in February 11-4pm or at other times by appointment for groups of 14 or more. I will also be open Sunday, 12th February, 11-4pm and Monday 13th February, 11–4pm if anyone attending The Shaftesbury Snowdrop Event wishes to visit. See all garden open dates.
Coffee and scrummy teas to tempt, also homemade soups, usually around the Aga, or at least inside.
Snowdrop serviettes, greetings cards and snowdrop display vases for sale, and snowdrop plants from Gordon Cottis, whilst stocks last!
