Snowdrops
I’ve been acquiring snowdrops for many years and now have a collection of over 400 named varieties plus drifts of singles and doubles throughout the garden.
Galanthus Pat Mason looks particularly good in several areas, my bulbs were aquired from Pat herself, many years ago. I am now trying to extend the season by growing earlier flowering and also later flowereing varieties.
An obsessed galanthophile, I open every Thursday from 4th January to 7th March and on a few weekend dates, see Open Days, all 11-4pm for the NGS. (£4 entry charge.)
Private visits at other times may be arranged by appointment for groups of 15 or more.
See all garden open dates.Coffee and scrummy teas to tempt, also homemade soups, usually around the Aga, or at least inside.
Snowdrop serviettes, greetings cards and other snowdrop sundries are for sale on my open days. Also snowdrop bulbs whilst stocks last and the weather is favourable for lifting!
>Spare snowdrop bulbs may be posted out in the green, please contact me me for my current list.
